Benenati Foot and Ankle Care Centers provides complete and comprehensive care for all types of foot and ankle problems including general foot care, wound management, sports medicine, diabetic care, and foot and ankle surgery for all patients of any age.
Since 1993, Benenati Foot and Ankle Care Centers has been serving the Macomb County area with a staff of highly-trained and experienced podiatrists who focus on quality of life and the overall health and well-being of their patients, treating the cause rather than the symptoms.
Should the need for surgical intervention be required, the doctors are affiliated with St. John, Beaumont, and Henry Ford health systems. Most procedures may be done in the office at the time of your visit, including laser surgery.
Durable medical equipment such as orthotics and diabetic therapeutic shoes and many other DME items to support your condition are available at all three office locations. Our offices provide both convenient appointments and urgent matters that may be seen on the same day.

Anthony V. Benenati, D.P.M. Podiatrist
Anthony V. Benenati, D.P.M., is a graduate of Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Benenati has been in private practice since 1993. He is also a staff member at several area hospitals. Dr. Benenati is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons as well as the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Benenati has held many leadership positions including Chief of Podiatric Surgery and Medicine and the Residency Director for the Foot and Ankle Reconstruction program at St. John Macomb Hospital. He is a member of multiple Podiatric Medical and Surgical Residency Programs, which he is personally involved with the training of the Podiatry Residents. Dr. Benenati completed a comprehensive Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Podiatric Surgical Residency at St. John North Shores Hospital. He is a distinguished member of the American Podiatric Medical Association as well as the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association. A proud member of the Italian American Chamber of Commerce and bilingual speaking both English and Italian. Si parla italiano.
Dr. Benenati is a high performance twin engine instrument certified pressurized pilot who donates time to “Wings of Mercy” and to flying patients to the Mayo Clinic. He is the proud Co-Founder of Wounded wings who dedicates time to provide services to families of service men and women. His interests include spending time with and boating with his family, fishing, hunting and hot rods.

Neil T. Shaw, D.P.M. Podiatrist
Neil T. Shaw, D.P.M.; A graduate of the School College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Shaw II has been in private practice since 2001. Dr. Shaw is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons. Dr. Shaw completed a comprehensive foot and ankle reconstructive surgical residency at St. John North Shores Hospital and is on staff at several area hospitals. Dr. Shaw is a member of multiple Podiatric Medical and Surgical Residency Programs, which he is personally involved with the training of the Podiatry Residents. Dr. Shaw specializes in orthopedic related sport injuries. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association.

McKenna Kaye, D.P.M.
McKenna T. Kaye is originally from California. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from University of California, Berkeley in 2014 in Biochemistry and Nutritional Sciences. She then went to pursue her Podiatric training at New York College of Podiatric Medicine in NYC where she graduated in 2018 with honors and was inducted into the Pi Delta Honor Society. She then moved to Metro Detroit to complete her three year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery residency in reconstructive rear foot and forefoot training at Detroit Medical Center/Beaumont Royal Oak Hospital.
In her free time, Dr. Kaye enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking, and gardening. She also enjoys cooking and baking cakes. She is excited to be a part of Benenati Foot and Ankle to continue to provide for the Metro Detroit community.
